Jail Booking
• Kelly A. Nygren, 41, Springfield, Tenn., was arrested Monday on a preliminary charge of dealing marijuana. She was taken into custody by state police at U.S. 31 and Wabash Avenue and booked at the Fulton County Jail. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Police Incidents
Animal call
• Shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, an owner of Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31, reported there was a cat left in a room that they no longer have keys for. Animal control advised her that forced entry could not be made and attempted to contact the cat's owners.
Citizen assist
• At 4:25 p.m. Monday, Fulton Circuit Court Judge Chris Lee requested an officer accompany a woman to keep the peace while retrieving her belongings from a residence on Sycamore Drive.
Noise complaint
• At 4:41 p.m. Monday, police received a complaint of loud music coming from a residence in the 400 block of North Troutman Street in Kewanna.
Wrecks
• A South Bend man lost control of a Ford Mustang around 4:30 p.m. Monday and ended up in the median of U.S. 31 and County Road 350 South.
• At 5:49 p.m. Monday, police received a report of a minor vehicle collision involving a Lexus and semi-truck in the 1800 block of Main Street. Police records indicate that damage was very minimal and there were no injuries.
Speeding complaint
• At 6:16 p.m. Monday, a man residing in the 1200 block of Madison Street complained about drivers speeding in the area. He reportedly stated that he would walk into the road with cinderblocks in his hands to "stop the speeding on his own," which he was advised not to do.
