Jail Bookings
• Troy A. Coon, 44, Niles, Mich., was arrested Monday on a warrant issued out of Berrien County, Michigan. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at Main Street and Rouch Place Drive to await extradition.

• At 3 a.m. Monday, a resident of Cherry Tree Lane reported finding a juvenile in his daughter's bedroom. She reportedly did not have permission to have a friend over.
Welfare check
• At 10 a.m. Monday, police received a report about a man making suicidal comments. A crisis team of 4C Health was contacted for assistance, and the man was assessed at Woodlawn Hospital and subsequently transported back home.
Fraud
• Shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, police received a report about fraud involving a lost checkbook and a forged signature.
In violation
• At 2:35 p.m. Monday, police received a report that the subject of a protective order was in violation of that order twice in January.
Animal call
• Shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, police received a report about two dogs running loose in the 1200 block of Pontiac Street.
Theft
• At 9:14 p.m. Monday, a woman requested to speak with an officer at the sheriff's office about money being stolen from her bank account.
Fight
• At 5:14 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a man was banging on a door at Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31. It was additionally reported that he had been making threats and was possibly wielding a hammer before leaving the area. His alleged victim was provided information on how to obtain a protective order and was advised to speak with management about issuing him a no trespassing warning.
