Jail Bookings
The following person was recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Katherine Maria Marte De Jesus, 29, Indianapolis, was taken into custody Wednesday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended. She was held on a $150 cash bond.

Police Incidents
Overdose report
• At 12:32 a.m. Wednesday, emergency personnel were dispatched to an apparent overdose at a residence on County Road 200 West, south of County Road 450 North. CPR was performed on the male patient, who was experiencing shallow breathing and administered three doses of Narcan – an opioid overdose reversal medication. Police records indicate that he was becoming more awake roughly 10 minutes after the original call.
Cited
• At 10:39 a.m. Wednesday, a driver was cited with disregarding a stop sign at County Road 375 North and U.S. 31.
Thefts
• At 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, police received a report about the theft of two kayaks from a shed at 3792 Strawberry Lane.
Reckless
• At 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, a woman driving a Dodge Caravan reported that a semi-truck driver tried to run her off the roadway in the area of U.S. 31 and State Road 110. An officer caught up with the semi, which had reportedly been traveling approximately 77 mph; however, they were unable to establish probable cause for a traffic stop.
Harassment
• Shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, a resident in the 800 block of Main Street reported receiving harassing messages over Facebook.
Animal call
• At 5 p.m. Wednesday, a resident of Dunn Street in Fulton was given a verbal warning after their dog reportedly chased someone. They were advised to keep the dog on their property using a tie-out and that it would be a citation moving forward.
Wreck
• A vehicle driven by Nathaniel Beck, 22, of Rochester, rolled over in a field around 4 p.m. Wednesday at county roads 100 North and 100 West. Police records indicate that Beck was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Civil issue
• At 6:26 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report that the driver of a semi-truck was heading south on U.S. 31 after refusing to pay a company that fixed his truck at Pilot in Plymouth. The caller was advised that they needed to make a report with Marshall County, as that is where the incident occurred.
On house arrest
• Shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, a Winamac man on house arrest reported that his ankle monitor fell off while he was fighting with a woman.
Citizen assist
• At 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, a woman residing in the 1200 block of West Ninth Street reported that her husband, who has dementia, believed she was holding him hostage. She requested an officer to help diffuse the situation and was to call for his possible placement in the morning.
Property damage
• At 7:07 a.m. Thursday, a resident of 610 W. 100 North, Rochester, reported that someone hit their mailbox.
