The South Bend Medical Foundation will host a blood drive at the Marshall County Building this Friday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The mobile bloodmobile will be stationed in the County Employee parking lot at 112 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
While the drive is conveniently located at the county building, organizers emphasize that it is open to the public, not just county employees. Anyone interested in donating life-saving blood is welcome to participate.
As a thank-you to donors, the South Bend Medical Foundation is offering a promotional incentive for February donors: a discount coupon for a 20-ounce smoothie from Smoothie King in Granger and Mishawaka.
Individuals can schedule an appointment online at www.givebloodnow.com or walk in during the drive hours.
Blood donations are critical for supporting local hospitals and medical facilities. Each donation can save up to three lives.
For more information about blood donation eligibility or to schedule an appointment, visit www.givebloodnow.com or contact the South Bend Medical Foundation.
