Students will learn about marketing, financial statements, business financing, and real-life, proven business management principles.
BizGro by FEDCO (Fulton County Economic Development Corp.) has announced plans for its Fall 2024 NxLevel Business Planning and Management Course.
The business training course is designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills for start-up and existing businesses. Anyone with a clear business idea considering a launch or those wanting to grow their existing business are encouraged to enroll and learn the skills needed to create, develop and strengthen successful business ventures.
Participants will develop an actual business plan, or roadmap for growth, considering various components and setting goals along the way. They also will receive training in marketing, learning tools that work, identifying target customers and discovering new markets.
The course also covers legal aspects of business ownership, including contracts, liability, copyrights, trademarks and patents. Also detailed are pricing, billing, accounting, bookkeeping, financial statements, small business loans and more.
It meets 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 16 and 23, Nov. 13 and 20, at the FEDCO office, 822 Main St. Cost is $199 per student and includes all course material.
