A woman using video visitation at the Marshall County Jail was arrested after authorities discovered that the inmate she was visiting had a protection order against her.
On Tuesday, 41-year-old Susie F. Nichols, a resident of the Economy Inn, was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for invasion of privacy by Officer Thornton.
On Tuesday evening at 8:45, Marshall County Central Dispatch was notified of a video visit with an inmate at the jail. It was revealed that the inmate had a protection order against Nichols, and she violated that order.
Plymouth Police were alerted and learned that the woman was Susie Nichols from Plymouth. Officer Thornton contacted Nichols at the Economy Inn, where she was arrested. She was taken to Marshall County Jail, booked for invasion of privacy, and held on a $500 cash bond and an automatic twenty-four-hour hold due to the charge.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
