Battery charges for a Shelbyville man in a domestic case before Christmas.
The Shelby County Prosecutor charged Dakota Rose with multiple charges including aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon. The victim in the case was found along West Franklin Street and taken to an Indianapolis hospital for medical treatment.
According to statements in the court documents, a fight was to happen between the two men based on a relationship between of the victim’s relationship with Rose’s wife.
The victim claimed Rose shot him and pistol whipped him.
Rose was arrested in Indianapolis days latter.
