County Police arrested an Argos woman following a crash on 12B Road near Filbert Road on March 26th.
At about 9:30 on Wednesday night, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call for a motor vehicle collision east of Bourbon.
When county officers arrived on the scene, they found a 2013 Ford pickup truck that had been traveling west on 12B Road. For an undetermined reason, the truck went into a skid and ran off the north side of the roadway into a deep ditch.
Officers found probable cause at the scene that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. 32-year-old Mackenzie K. Houin of Jarrah Road in Argos was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for medical treatment and a certified chemical test.
After treatment and the results of the test, Houin was later lodged in the Marshall County Jail for operating while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15% or above. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
