The National Weather Service (NWS) is continuing flood warnings for area rivers as they continue to rise. Lowland flooding is occurring along the Wabash River at Hutsonville and there is the possibility that flooding could develop further downstream at Vincennes and Mount Carmel as the river crest moves. The NWS has also issued a flood warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville through Tuesday. The river is near it's 30 foot flood stage at Lawrenceville and is expected to crest sometime Tuesday. Only minor flooding is anticipated. The flood warning also continues for the Little Wabash River near Clay City Illinois.
