The U Matter Too campout was created for veterans to have a safe place, to meet other veterans, and to create a bond with other veterans, so, when a crisis happens, they have a battle buddy to help them through the fire.
They want others to know, that some have invisible wounds, some need to know they have a purpose, and some need to know THEY Matter.
In their 8th year of helping veterans one at a time, U Matter Too, is hosting their second All-American Campout. Each year they bring in special guests that offer services and advice to those in need. They have great activities to help meet other veterans that have common ground like cornhole, horseshoes, games, camaraderie and more. Several organizations will also be in attendance. Dinner and Breakfast will be served.
This event is presented by U Matter 2 Inc. It will be held on May 4th beginning at 9 a.m. and ends on May 5th at 2 p.m. The location is 18890 5th Road in Plymouth. This is primitive camping. RV/Campers are allowed but must have their own generator.
Campout is FREE for veterans and one guest. This is an Adults only, 21 years old and above event. Must show DD-214 or Military ID to enter.
