At 1:13 a.m. on January 1st, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received an automated collision alert from a cell phone on Sycamore Road north of 9th Road.
The first responders found that a 2021 Kia passenger car had run north off the roadway, over an embankment, and down a steep slope onto railroad property. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was found in the car.
