4C Health is proud to commemorate one year of providing same-day, walk-in access to mental health and substance use services across the region.
This milestone reflects 4C Health’s unwavering commitment to increasing accessibility, reducing barriers, and meeting individuals where they are on their journey to wellness.
Launched in May of 2024, the walk-in access initiative was designed to ensure individuals could receive timely behavioral health support without the need for a scheduled appointment. Since implementation, 4C Health has served more than 1000 individuals through walk-in services across its locations.
Nicole Hiatt-Drang, Chief Clinical Officer for 4C Health states, “As I look back and celebrate our one year anniversary of implementing same day access for care, I reflect on lessons learned, my immense appreciation for everyone who has been agile in process improvement, and for all the individuals who have courageously been part of the process over the last year by trusting us with their care. Offering same-day access to care, through the use of walk-in access, is not just about efficiency; it's about embracing the urgency of care and meeting people when they are ready. It is helping to transform lives by breaking down barriers and ensuring that individuals receive support when they need it most. Looking forward to continued improvement and access for our communities over the next year.”
Walk-in access is available Monday through Friday during business hours at all 4C Health locations. Services include initial assessments, crisis intervention, referrals, and coordination of ongoing care.
