12th District Republican Congressman Mike Bost has announced that students from the district which includes Lawrence and other surrounding counties are invited to participate
The contest was initiated by Congress back in 1982 and allows high school students nationwide to showcase their artistic abilities. The winning artwork from the 12th District will be displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. Judging will be performed by members of the local art community. The deadline to enter and participate is Friday, April 26th.
