A two-vehicle collision in Tippecanoe on Tuesday afternoon resulted in one driver being transported to the hospital with a head injury.
On August 18th, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle crash in the 18,000 block of State Road 331. When a Marshall County officer arrived on scene, it was determined that a 2008 Honda Odyssey, driven by 17-year-old Jaydon Whitaker, was backing out of a driveway when it backed into a northbound 2007 Honda Pilot driven by 34-year-old Audrianna Bastardo.
The impact of the collision caused the Honda Pilot to spin around, leaving the vehicle facing southeast when the officer arrived on the scene.
Bourbon EMS was called to the scene and transported Bastardo for a complaint of a head injury. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Bourbon EMS and Lyons Wrecker Service.
