The Lexus was then struck by a westbound 2015 Volvo Semi Tractor Trailer being driven by Michael Truex, 66, of Nappanee. The two vehicles came to a rest in eastbound traffic.
U.S. 6 was shut down for a period of time while the vehicles and debris were removed from the roadway.
Two patients were transported to the Hospital with injuries, none of which were believed to be life-threatening.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Bremen Police Department, Bremen Fire Department, Bremen EMS, LaPaz EMS, and Newcomer's Wrecker Service of Nappanee.
