The 2025 Lawrenceville High School (LHS) Men's Basketball League champion is the Vincennes White Team.
The squad, captained by Cody Phillips, rallied from an early first half deficit and beat the Lawrenceville Red Team 70-52 in the championship game of the post-season league tournament Sunday afternoon at Lawrenceville High School Gymnasium.
Vincennes spurted near the end of the first half and took a 36-27 lead at the half and then steadily pulled away from Lawrenceville in the second half using a combination of outstanding outside three-point shooting and a solid inside game to win handily. The tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) was Baylon Graff of Bloomfield, Indiana who led the Vincennes squad in scoring and rebounding. Congratulations to Elijah Evans of Mt Carmel, formerly of Bridgeport who won the 3-point shooting competition held in conjunction with the tournament. Proceeds from the 2nd annual tourney go to the Lawrenceville Indian basketball program.
