The All Star TQ Midget series returns to the Shelby County Fairgrounds Saturday.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps commence at 6 p.m. with racing on the fairgrounds’ dirt track in front of the grandstand slated for 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per person and $30 per pit pass.
Shelbyville’s Logan Prickett (photo) recently collected his first two feature wins in the series which has vaulted him to second place in the season point standings behind Joey Paxson (2,048 to 1,741).
Evan Shatto (1,732), Johnny Goff (1,713) and Addison True (1,627) complete the top five in the standings.
Prickett celebrated in Victory Lane on back-to-back nights at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in Osgood on July 24 and July 25.
Paxson extended his points standings lead with his seventh feature victory of the season Saturday at the Rush County Fairgrounds. True was second, Shatto was third in the final race of the night. Prickett finished sixth.
The series’ return to the Shelby County Fairgrounds Saturday is the final stop locally on the 2024 schedule.
