The Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians are no longer winless.
They picked up their first win of the season 5-1 over Oblong Wednesday at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville.
The hosts scored 5 runs on 12 hits and made only 1 error while the Lady Panthers were held to 1 run on 5 hits with 1 error.
Addy Brush had 3 hits and 2 RBI, Erin Harris 2 hits and Kinleigh Ritchie 1 hit and RBI in the victory.
Paige Hill started on the bump and went 3 innings for the win with Annalise Green finishing up.
The team is now 1-2 and will return to action Thursday at home against Flora at 4:30 p.m.
