A postseason honor for Lawrenceville Indian head basketball coach Tad Shick.
He was announced this week by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) as the 2025 Class 2A District 20 Coach of the Year.
The first year head coach took over after the resignation of Randy Bishop and led the Tribe to a 24-8 season record this past season.
His team was 5-2 in the Little Illini Conference (LIC) during the regular season and won the LIC Tournament at Lawrenceville.
The Indians also captured the Class 2A Paris Regional before losing to Warrensburg-Lathan at the Tolono Sectional.
