Triton Central High School junior guard Eli Sego has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Sego scored 11 points against Beech Grove Friday to surpass 1,000 career points in three seasons at Triton Central. He is the sixth Tiger to surpass 1,000 points and the first to reach the mark since Jordan Tandy (1,019) in 2000.
Sego and the Tigers (12-9, 3-3 Indiana Crossroads Conference) end their regular-season schedule Friday at Speedway (2-18, 2-4 ICC).
