A 25-point second quarter helped Triton Central secure a 75-45 win Friday at Waldron.
The visiting Tigers extended an 11-5 lead after one quarter to 36-14 at halftime when six different players contributed to the explosive quarter.
Maryrose Felling finished with a game-high 22 points to improve the Tigers to 3-5. Madison Collins finished with 13 points and Quinn King had 10.
Emerson Lindsey hit four three-pointers to lead Waldron (4-4) with 15 points. Alivia Fischer finished with 11.
Triton Central won the junior varsity game 39-16. Madison Swisher led the victorious Tigers with 10 points. Riley Thurston scored 10 points for the Mohawks.
Triton Central hosts Indianapolis Scecina (2-4) Tuesday for an Indiana Crossroads Conference contest.
Waldron travels to Jac-Cen-Del (2-5) Tuesday.

At Shelbyville’s William L. Garrett Gymnasium Saturday afternoon, the visiting Bulldogs overcame an 8-for-22 performance from the free-throw line to deal the Golden Bears their third consecutive loss.
Batesville led 38-34 after three quarters then outscored Shelbyville 12-9 in the fourth quarter despite missing 10 free throws.
Marlee Obermeyer led the Bulldogs (7-2) with 14 points. Kaylin Kathman finished with 12 points and Madelyn Haskamp had 10. Batesville has won five straight.
Maddy Jones hit four 3s to lead Shelbyville (3-4) with 14 points. Jayla Ash finished with 11.
The Golden Bears host New Palestine (5-3) Tuesday in their Hoosier Heritage Conference opener.
Purdue Poly Englewood 82, Southwestern 14
At Southwestern Friday, the visiting Techies built a 31-4 lead after one quarter and cruised to its sixth win of the season.
Tanna Tatlock led Southwestern (2-7) with 12 points.
