Triton Central’s power surge kept it atop the Indiana Crossroads Conference standings.
The Class 2A, No. 10 Tigers belted seven home runs Tuesday in a 15-4 win at Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter.
Brylie Couch and Ashlyn Hittle each hit two home runs and combined to drive in nine runs. Lilli Fillippinie, Marissa Williams and Makinah Noel also homered to improve Triton Central to 15-2 (4-0 ICC).
Madi Peterson pitched a 6-inning complete game, allowing five hits and four walks while striking out eight.
Berkley Finke and Riley Torres each had two hits for Ritter (7-11, 1-5 ICC).
Triton Central continues its ICC schedule today when Speedway (3-7, 1-3 ICC) visits Fairland.

Hoosier Heritage Conference Meet
At Mt. Vernon, Shelbyville had two athletes score a pair of top-5 results.
Freshman Macey Robbins placed fourth in the 400 meters in 1:00.43. She also finished fourth in the 800 (2:34.04).
Jordyn Noe, another freshman, finished fifth in the 100 hurdles (17.33) and fourth in the 300 hurdles (50.4).
Robbins and Noe also were part of Shelbyville’s sixth-place finish in the 1,600 relay (4:21.03). They ran with Sonora O’Connor and Alyna Castanon.
