Plymouth splits NLC meets SYRACUSE - Wawasee High School was the setting for the NLC girl’s track meet for the Lady Pilgrim track team. The Pilgrims split with Goshen and the host Warriors. The Pilgrims defeated Wawasee 69-63 but fell to Goshen 70-62. Kacee Peters, Caitlyn Carothers, and Cece Robinson were double first place winners on the night for the Pilgrims. Robinson won the shot put and discus. Carothers won the 800 meter run while Peters won the 300 meter hurdles. Carothers, Peters, Rachael Kaylor, and Nicole Keller were part of the winning 4 x 100 meter relay team. Kaylor also finished second in the 100 meter dash while Keller finished 2nd in the 200 meter dash. Claudia Marohn won the high jump competition with a leap of five feet. Ashley Rosas finished second in the 1600 meter run while teammate Aumrie Weiss finished second in the 100 meter hurdles. Next up for the girls is the Penn Invitational Saturday at Penn High School. Start time is set for 9:45 a.m.
