Plymouth routs LaVille on the baseball diamond

The Plymouth offense overpowered LaVille in a 19-2 baseball win on Wednesday.

Plymouth put nine runs on the board in the first and added another big inning, a seven-run fourth, to dominate the game.

Shortstop Ben Shively drove in five for the Pilgrims on a 3-for-3 day at the plate. He also scored three times.

Parker Wolfe homered and was 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored.

Grady Metsker drove in three while hitting 2-for-3. He also scored a run.

Landon Tyler started on the hill and worked three of the game's five innings to record the win. Adan Macias worked two innings of shutout relief.
