Plymouth Rockies football forged a 6-5 overall, 4-3 conference mark in 2024.

So, what do you do for an encore?

Take a one-time happening and turn it into a trend for Coach Adam Handley and the Rockies program.

Plymouth finished above.500 for the first time since a 9-3 record in 2019. That included a 33-32 upset of Warsaw who didn't lose another game until the 5A state championship.

Now, a chance for Plymouth to put together back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since that same season.

Handley says prep for this upcoming season includes some analysis of what worked and what didn’t from a year ago.

One of the biggest transitions will be replacing veteran QB Xander Ramirez who passed for 890 yards and ran for over 1300.

Also gone, the 100 tackles of Carter Bush on the defensive side of the ball.

It'll be another new opponent in the opener for Plymouth. The Rockies will host Tippecanoe Valley in one of four home games on the schedule.
