Plymouth rallies past Glenn with a 5-run 7th

Plymouth scored five times in the top of the seventh to rally past Glenn in Saturday high school softball.

Plymouth held the lead early with a pair of runs in the first but the offense went quiet as Glenn(5-4)  tied it 2-2 in the fourth and scored two more runs in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead.

But Plymouth scored five times in the top of the seventh and then shut down Glenn in the bottom half of the inning to secure a 7-4 win.

For Plymouth:

Haylee Busse HR, 2 runs scored
Lizz Derifield single, 2 RBI, 2 runs
Gracie Patrick CG, allowed two earned runs, five strikeouts

Plymouth (5-2) travels to Mishawaka Monday for a 5:30 first pitch.
