Plymouth looks for fourth straight win on Homecoming as Warsaw comes to town

The date was September 27. The year was 1924.

The first meeting between Plymouth and Warsaw on the football field went to Warsaw 39-7.

93 meetings later, the Rockies and Tigers meet again tonight on GIANT fm Sports.

Plymouth leads the all-time series 50-42-2.

Plymouth head coach Adam Handley knows the history. Throw in last season’s Plymouth upset and the Rockies Homecoming and you have plenty of factors for a great matchup.

Handley knows Warsaw intends to run the ball. Last season, two early turnovers gave the Rockies the boost they needed for the road upset.

Warsaw head coach Bart Curtis remembers the turnovers and talks about what the 2025 Plymouth team offers.

Plymouth enters tonight on a three game win streak and tied with Mishawaka as the only undefeated teams in the NLC. Mishawaka plays at winless Northridge tonight.

Warsaw, NorthWood and Concord are all 2-1 in the Northern lakes.
