Pilgrims fifth in Triton invite PLYMOUTH — The Varsity and Junior Varsity Plymouth Golf teams both played in the Triton Invitational Saturday afternoon at Swan Lake Golf Course. The invite included a total of 18 Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. The Pilgrim Varsity finished 5th overall with a score of 344. The course will be used later this year as an IHSAA Regional course. The Pilgrims will be the host of the Regional. Fort Wayne Canterbury won the event shooting a 320. Chapman Yoder once again lead the Pilgrims shooting an 82 on the day. Bryce Carmichael shot an 86 while Owen Yoder and Matthew Gerard each carded an 88. The JV Pilgrims finished 14th in the event shooting a 380. Devante Garcia finished the round with a career best 89 on the day. Next up the Pilgrims play in the IHSAA Sectional Friday at Rozella Ford Golf Course in Warsaw. Tee time is set for 8:00 a.m.
