Parkview runner competes at junior high cross-country state meet

Congratulations to Red Hill Junior High School eighth grade student Addi Thacker on competing in the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) State Class 3A Cross-Country meet this past weekend in Normal, Illinois.

Thacker, who runs on the Lawrenceville Parkview Cross Country Lady Braves coop team, finished 156th out of 222 total runners at the 2-mile Maxwell Park Course in a time of 13:54.0. The meet was won by Brynn Bentkus of Downers Grove in a time of 11:46.4.

Thacker qualified for the IESA State as an individual at the Robinson Class 3A Sectional.
