Southwestern’s 5-game win streak ended Tuesday at Oldenburg Academy, 60-41.
The Twisters outscored the visiting Spartans 34-21 in the second half to improve to 13-8 this season.
Henry Wanstrath scored a game-high 23 points. Two more Twisters – Jacob Stenger (11 points) and Grant Goldsmith (10) – also scored in double digits.
Jace Patterson led Southwestern (10-12) with 15 points. Ben Kahler finished with 14.
Oldenburg Academy won the junior varsity game in overtime 58-57. Jay Utley led the Spartans with 18 points. James Oliver added 17 and Landon Drake had 10.
Southwestern extended its win streak to five Monday at MTI Knowledge in Indianapolis. The Spartans led 31-17 at halftime and outscored the Phoenix (5-13) 33-19 in the second half to secure the victory.
Patterson led Southwestern with 25 points. Mitchell Clements finished with 14.
The Spartans won the junior varsity game 63-23. Drake scored a team-high 15 points while Dusty Stevens finished with 13.
Southwestern closes out its regular season schedule Friday at home against Anderson Prep (17-5).
