Morristown senior Remi Spicklemire will close out her high school gymnastics career at the IHSAA State Finals.
Spicklemire (photo) finished fourth in the floor exercise Friday at the Franklin Central Regional with a score of 9.45.
She also tied for eighth in the vault (8.875) and sixth on the balance beam (8.825) and will compete in all three events at the State Finals Saturday at Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State University.
With a 7.275 on the uneven bars, Spicklemire placed 13th in the All-Around competition.
Shelbyville had three gymnasts competing at the regional.
- Haylee Barnes finished tied for 17th in the vault (8.55) and 27th on the balance beam (7.30)
- Bryleigh Heller placed 24th in the vault (8.00) and 31st on the balance beam (6.35)
- Piper Brown finished 28th in the floor exercise (7.90)
