The struggles continue for the Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians.
They were shutout 9-0 Thursday by the visiting Marshall Lady Lions at Phil Alsman Field.
Marshall scored 9 times on 13 hits with no errors while the Lady Indians did not score and had only 2 hits with no errors.
The two hits were by Erin Harris and Allyssa Griggs.
Paige Hill took the pitching loss, going only 3 2/3 innings and giving up 6 earned runs.
The loss was the third in a row for Lawrenceville, now 3-12 on the season.
They are scheduled to host Salem in a doubleheader Saturday at 11 a.m. at Alsman Field.
