Lady Red Storm takes tourney title VALPARAISO - The seventh grade Lady Red Stormed traveled to Thomas Jefferson Middle School to participate in a four team tourney. The girls took on Wheeler in the first game coming up with a strong victory winning 25-21. The team did well working the ball around and became much more confident with the basketball on the offensive side of the ball. Dragani was top scorer with 11 points followed by Taylor Delp with seven. In the championship game the Red Storm took on the home team from TJMS. They came out strong right out of the gate and put them away winning 34-17. It was solid offensive effort with six girls finding the basket. Kylee Gaines finished as high scorer with eight followed by Dragani with seven, Delp and Hopple with six, Bird with five, and Jones with two. The team looks to continue to grow this Thursday when they take on the Lancers from LaVille.
