Lady Pilgrims lose in extras PLYMOUTH – Plymouth matched Goshen for seven innings, but the Lady Redskins pushed across two runs in the eighth to defeat the Lady Pilgrims, 3-1. Pitcher Josie Koontz had a great showing in the circle for Plymouth, allowing just five hits and striking out five while going the distance. Plymouth had the potential winning run on third base in the bottom of the 7th, but were unable to score. Plymouth’s two hits were a double by Shayla Noble and a bunt single by Mia Wojcik. Jena Downs had the Pilgrims’ sole RBI.
