The Robinson Lady Basketball Maroons finished third in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 2A State Basketball tournament finals Thursday at the CEFCU Arena in Normal. They lost in the second semi-final to Nashville in the afternoon 52-36 and then rebounded in the evening to beat Wilmette (Regina Dominican) 51-44 to capture third. The Lady Maroons of the Little Illini Conference (LIC) were led in that game by Elizabeth Shea with 18 points and Katelyn Jones with 12 and finish the season at 29-6.
