Lady Lancers pick up top finishes LAKEVILLE — The Lancer Cross Country team hosted South Bend Carer Academy on Thursday Night's season opener. Despite neither team having the required five runners to score, the Lady Lancer squad picked up first, second, third and fifth place finishes. Faith Rock led the team finishing first for girls and ninth overall in the co-ed race. Lauren Edison (2nd) came in just behind Rock, followed by Jozee King-Cook (3rd) and Tip Jampatear (5th). The Lancers will travel on Saturday to compete at the Fairfield Invitational.
