The Parkview Junior High Softball Lady Braves are headed to the regional semi-finals this weekend. Brina Opat had three hits and 4 RBI to propel them to a 15-0 first round victory Wednesday over Hume-Shiloh at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville. Sienna Ivers and Alix Garza also had three hits apiece in the 17 hit offensive attack. The offense backed the no-hit pitching of Reagan Ivers who allowed no runs on no hits with four strikeouts and issued one walk. Parkview is now 14-5 and will play in the second semi-final of the Class 2A Regional at Casey Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Meanwhile, the season ended for the Red Hill Softball Miss Salukis Wednesday. They lost in first round action Wednesday to host Casey-Westfield at Casey 16-4.
