Morristown High School junior Jayla Keithley has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Keithley led the Yellow Jackets to two wins last week. She scored 15 points in a 37-26 victory over Southwestern and 20 points in a 46-41 win over Mooresville Christian.
For the season, Keithley is averaging 12.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.5 steals per game (all team highs).
Morristown (6-6) is back in action Jan. 3 at home against Indianapolis Scecina.
