The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) is holding its 49th annual North – South All – Star Series from June 19 – 23 at Forest Glen Park on the campus of Huntington University.
This series is a very prestigious event and will feature not only the best talent Indiana has to offer, but several future professional baseball players.
June 19 will kick off all-star week with an underclass Futures Games showcasing 65 talented sophomores and juniors from all over Indiana.
June 21 – 23 will bring together 52 of the top seniors (26 from the Northand 26 from the South) to participate in a 3-game series over two days.
Caston’s Blake Mollenkopf is the head coach of the North team. Caston assistant Nick Stuber is on his staff.
Friday will be highlighted with workouts by both teams (free to the public) and an evening banquet that will recognize the all-stars and conclude by presenting the Indiana High School Baseball Player of the
Year award.
Saturday features a noon doubleheader and Sunday will be the wooden bat, high school uniform game that is a must-see event.
Admission is $5 for each event.
