Triton Central junior guard Maryrose Felling has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Felling continued her impressive season and reached a personal milestone this past week in two wins for the Tigers.
In a 72-14 win over Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, Felling broke the program record with 10 made 3-pointers (38 total points). She followed that performance up with a 36-point outing in a 69-55 victory over Speedway, which helped her surpass 1,000 career points.
With 108 points scored in her last three games, Felling has moved up to No. 7 on Triton Central’s career scoring list. She now has 1,007 career points just 12 games into her junior season. She needs 76 points to pass Kristy Gates for No. 6 on the list.

TC has won five consecutive games and is 7-5 overall after an 0-4 start.
The Tigers are back in action Friday morning against Yorktown in the Greenwood Tournament.
