The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross Country Indians made their seasons debut Tuesday in a meet at Effingham hosted by St. Anthony. They do not have full boys and girls teams, but competed as individuals and ran well. Braydan Morrison was outstanding in the three mile boys race as he finished 2nd in a time of 17:12, Aiden Crawford was 13th in 18:52 and Daniel Kiser was 19th in 20:14. In the girls competition, Ellie Buchanon was 8th in a time of 22:51, Laurel Buchanon was right behind in 9th at 18:52 and Ivy Clark was 23rd in 27:35. The next meet for the squad will be at home next week when they host Mt Carmel and Palestine-Hutsonville at Lawrenceville City Park.
