The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross Country Indians competed in the Class 1A Division of the First to the Finish X-C Invitational meet Saturday at Peoria.
The girls finished 37th out of 42 teams competing. They were led by Lexi Brooke who finished 133rd in a time of 21:16 on the 3-mile course. Laurel Buchanon and Ellie Buchanon finished in times of 22:28.10 and 22:43.40 respectively. Ivy Clark and Elia Stoltz also finished the race with times of 25:00.40 and 25:13.80.
The boys finished 37th out of 62 teams competing. The Indians were led by Braydan Morrison who finished 78th overall in a time of 16:32.90 over the 3-mile course. He was followed by Walter Eberwine in a time of 17:46.90, Aiden Crawford in 18:06.70, Daniel Kiser in 18:58.50 and Isaiah Fuller in 20:27.30.
The squads will next run in the multi-team Olney (Richland County) Invitation on Saturday, September 20th.
