After going 2-8 a season ago and posting the most wins since 2018, the Clovderdale football team has been hard at work this offseason with a goal of making more noise this fall.
Head football coach Tyler Lotz said the offseason has been "good so far" for the Clovers.
"We have put good work in, in the weight room. We are having/had a couple spring practices to get a little bit of a head start," Lotz told The Putnam County Post.
One change for Cloverdale this fall will be who lines up under center at quarterback, according to Lotz.
"Our quarterback battle will be between Tre Henderson and Drake Hoffa. Tayt Jackson is going to be utilized differently this year," Lotz said.
Lotz said the upcoming senior class has been huge for the Clovers.
"Our senior class has really stood out this offseason. We will be senior heavy and we will rely on them to lead us on and off the field," Lotz said.
