Chargers use balanced attack to down Glen Oaks PLYMOUTH – Ancilla College matched their first half total in the first eight minutes of the second half as they pulled away to beat Glen Oaks (8-15, 5-9) 107-83 in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association contest at the LifePlex on Monday night. The Chargers (17-7, 10-4) are tied for second in the MCCAA. The Chargers started fast, but Glen Oaks regrouped and tied the game at 20-20, before falling behind again at the half 35-30. Ancilla took off in the second half, leading by 33 points at one time. Josh Alcindor scored 20 points to lead a well-balanced Ancilla attack. Mike Green and Mike Hemingway had 19 points each, while Tyreese Walker connected on five of seven three-point baskets for 15 points, Ty’Sean Sheppard added 10 points and six steals, as the Chargers caused 31 Glen Oak turnovers.
