CFCO wins Lincoln Trail softball tournament

Congratulations to CFCO.

They are the 2025 Lincoln Trail girls softball tournament champions. The squad captured the title Tuesday evening by defeating Ivers Farms 7-0 in a Lawrence County battle at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville behind a solid offense and shutout pitching by Annalise Green in the circle. They also won the division.

After the win, members of the team and their coaches received the championship first place trophy and the divisional plaque. Ivers farm was also honored for their second-place finish in the eight-team tournament which was shortened by rain and wet field conditions.
