The Red Hill basketball Salukis lost Saturday to Cowden-Herrick Beecher City (CHBC) 72-66 in the 5th place game at the Dieterich Holiday Tournament.
They did lead at the half, but CHBC took over play in the second half and pulled away in the 4th quarter to secure the win.
Ozzy Ash led the squad with 35 points and Abram Clark added 11, but it was not enough.
The Salukis finished 1-3 and are now 8-8 on the season.
They return to action Tuesday, January 7th at home in Bridgeport against the Wayne City Indians
