The Red Hill basketball Salukis were upset at home in Bridgeport in their opening game of the Midland Trail Conference (MTC) tournament.
The fourth seeds were beaten by the fifth seeded Grayville Bison 72-60.
The Salukis did lead after one quarter, but could not hold on and fell behind by 4 at the half.
Grayville controlled the third quarter and expanded the lead to 17 points at the end of the period.
The Salukis did cut the lead to 9 twice in the fourth quarter, but could not get any closer.
The 9-11 Salukis were led by Ozzy Ash with 22 points.
The squad is right back in action Wednesday when they face Patoka/Odin in the consolation bracket at Webber High School.
