Maddox Pargin hit key free throws in the final minute Saturday night to help the Lawrenceville basketball Indians hold off Altamont 36-35 in a low scoring contest at Altamont.
The Indians fell behind early against the hosts 18-8 after one quarter and spent most of the game battling back.
They trailed 23-16 at the half and 27-23 after three quarters before rallying for their 11 straight win in the final period.
Pargin led the scoring with 18 points and Zander Cessna added 11.
The Indian JV also won 56-40 with Aiden Winningham leading the way with 17.
The Tribe are now 20-6 on the season and will return home Tuesday to host the Red Hill Salukis in a Lawrence County battle.
