The Lawrenceville basketball Indians rebounded from a lopsided loss to Casey last week Friday night.
They jumped on top early and never trailed in a 60-37 win over the Paris Tigers at Lawrenceville High School.
The Tribe scored the first seven points of the game and led 17-11 after one quarter.
The lead grew to 39-19 and the half and 50-30 after three quarters enroute to the victory.
Noah Wilson paced the Indian offense with 18 points and Maddox Pargin added 14.
Pargin was among three Indian players honored on Senior Night in the regular season finale and final home game of the season.
The other two were Parker Hardiman and Boston Gray.
The Indians lost the JV game to Paris 52-49 with Aiden Winningham scoring 15 and Blayton Gossett 13.
They won the frosh-soph contest 50-44 behind Gossett with 19 points, Isaac Vennard added 14 and Liam Morey 12.
The Indians capped off the regular season at 22-7 and finished 5-2 in the Little Illini Conference.
They are now idle till Wednesday when they travel to Paris to face either O-P-H or newton in the semi-finals of the Class 2A regional tournament beginning at 6 p.m.
