Eleven different Jets scored, led by Jeffery Flowers’ 17, to get Anderson Prep a 70-49 victory Thursday over Southwestern.
The Spartans trailed 18-5 after one quarter and never recovered.
Anderson Prep led 34-21 at halftime and 47-38 through three quarters then outscored Southwestern 23-11 over the final eight minutes.
Josiah Stevens had 13 points in the win. The Jets (9-12) are at Morristown (16-5) tonight.
Josh Karr led Southwestern with 16 points. Landon Drake finished with 15.
Anderson Prep won the junior varsity contest 76-46.
Southwestern (5-16) opens the postseason Tuesday at Class A, Sectional 59 against Waldron (14-7) at Tri High School. Tipoff is at 6 p.m.
